Precision Contact Repair
The Plate-Master uses brush-tipped plating applicators to place cleaning and plating solutions directly onto the work area. This localized process makes it especially useful for repairing gold finger contacts without processing the entire circuit board.
Controlled Voltage and Current
A precision voltage source controls activation of the plating solution, while precision current control regulates the rate and amount of deposited material. Once the selected current is reached, the control system prevents additional current that could cause burning or arcing.
Versatile Electroplating
Although commonly used for gold contact repair, the system can electroplate several materials. Gold and nickel solutions are supplied with the standard system, while tin, lead, copper, and silver solutions are available separately.
