APE Sniper III 115V Split-Vision Rework Station
The APE Sniper III is a depot-level rework system designed for precision removal, alignment, placement, and reflow of BGA, Micro BGA, QFP, CSP, and other advanced surface-mount components.
DABIS split-vision optics, automatic pneumatic component placement, closed-loop thermal control, an onboard computer, and profile data logging combine alignment and process control in one professional station.

DABIS Prism Optical Alignment
The Digital Alignment and Beam Image Splitting system provides simultaneous look-up and look-down viewing. It superimposes the underside of the component over the PCB footprint so the operator can align pads and leads before placement.
Automatic Vertical Placement Drive
The reinforced, Z-adjustable Vertical Placement Drive uses pneumatic control and pressure sensing for consistent component placement. A Venturi vacuum pickup secures the device during alignment and provides a clean snap release at placement.
Closed-Loop Profile Control
Store and run up to 16 multi-segment ramp-and-soak profiles from the onboard controller. Included GDW software expands profile storage and supports cycle control, automatic shutoff, thermocouple monitoring, and PDF process data logging.
Rotary Vacuum Board Handling
The 12 × 16-inch rotary and staged vacuum board holder supports controlled X, Y, and theta adjustment with precision micrometers. The platform accommodates boards up to 16 × 20 inches for large telecommunications, industrial, and depot-repair applications.
