Closed-Loop Thermal Control

The SMD-625 regulates tweezer-tip temperature through a closed-loop control system. Its digital interface provides a controlled working range for component removal and installation while maintaining listed idle stability within 2°F.

Small-Component Rework

The thermal tweezer handpiece applies heat to both sides of a component at the same time. This makes the system well suited for small PLCC and SOIC packages as well as chip resistors, capacitors, and other two-sided devices.

Interchangeable Tweezer Tips

The included chip-component tip pair handles common chip devices. Optional matched tip pairs are available for SOT and SOIC packages in several sizes, allowing the same station to support a wider range of component geometries.

Compact Benchtop Design

At 6 × 5 × 2.75 inches and 3.5 pounds, the SMD-625 provides dedicated thermal-tweezer capability without requiring a large amount of bench space. A holder and handle insulator are included for organized operation.
