APE Intruder Lightning 220V Split-Vision Rework System

The APE Intruder Lightning is a professional split-vision BGA and SMT rework system designed for low-volume production, prototyping, and electronics repair. Micrometer-controlled alignment helps operators accurately position components before reflow.

A focal bottom heater and 16-step ramp-and-soak controller provide programmable thermal profiling. Profiles can be created from the integral keypad or managed through an external computer using the RS232 connection and optional Graphical Display Window software.

Sixteen-Step Thermal Profiling

The programmable controller supports a sixteen-segment ramp-and-soak profile for controlled heating and cooling. Programs are entered directly through the integral keypad, allowing technicians to develop repeatable processes for different components and circuit boards.

Split-Vision Component Alignment

The split-vision alignment system and micrometer controls support precise positioning of BGA and SMT components. The 17-inch color display gives the operator a clear view during component-to-pad alignment.

Focal Bottom Heating and Closed-Loop Reflow

Focused bottom heating prepares the assembly for reflow, while closed-loop operation helps maintain the programmed thermal process. The system includes three reflow nozzles of choice and two preheat nozzles for application flexibility.

Computer Connectivity

An RS232 connection allows the controller to communicate with an external computer. Optional Windows-based Graphical Display Window software can be used to create, store, recall, edit, and upload profile recipes.
