Closed-Loop Digital Control

Sensor-controlled soldering and desoldering tools maintain a settable working range from 450°F to 900°F. Digital regulation provides consistent process control for manufacturing, repair, and rework of temperature-sensitive electronics.

Powered Vacuum Desoldering

The desoldering handpiece connects to an instant-rise, high-volume internal vacuum pump for efficient solder extraction. An included cool sleeve improves operator comfort, while the fixed stop-clog filter removes flux fumes and solids before they reach the pump.

Protection for Sensitive Components

Zero-voltage thyristor switching supports controlled operation around sensitive circuit assemblies. The system provides a professional platform for through-hole soldering and powered desoldering without requiring an external vacuum source.

Expandable for SMT Rework

The standard soldering iron and through-hole desoldering tool can be interchanged with optional thermal tweezers, a hot-air jet tool, or a vacuum pick-and-place wand, allowing the EX-700 to support additional surface-mount applications.
