The EX-680 is a digitally controlled, air-operated desoldering system designed for sensitive electronic circuits and demanding through-hole rework. A three-digit LED display, operator lockout, and instant pneumatic vacuum give technicians precise temperature control and strong solder extraction.

Digital Temperature Control

The three-digit LED readout displays both the temperature setting and operating temperature for clear process monitoring. An operator lockout helps preserve established settings and supports consistent results across repeated repair work.

Instant Pneumatic Vacuum

Filtered and regulated shop air from 60–120 psi powers the PNEU-VAC foot-pedal venturi system. The system produces an instant vacuum force of 20–23 in Hg for removing solder from multilayer joints, high-thermal-mass connections, and tight lead-to-hole clearances.

Static-Dissipative Handpiece

The included pencil-grip EX-1700 desoldering handpiece is static dissipative to help protect sensitive electronic components. Foot-pedal activation keeps vacuum control convenient while leaving the operator’s hands free to position the tool and assembly.
