Controlled SMT Rework

Built for low-temperature surface-mount rework, the Chipper SMD-500 combines an internal blower and internal vacuum pump in one compact system. Airflow remains below 12.7 CFM to support focused heating around the target component.

Simple, Hands-Free Operation

One-button programming keeps setup uncomplicated, while foot-pedal control lets the operator work with both hands at the board. Temperature display can be selected in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Automatic Component Lift-Off

The automatic SMT component vacuum pickup lifts the component after reflow and continues holding it through the cooling cycle, helping reduce unnecessary handling during removal.

Adjustable Board Support

The standard 8 × 8-inch PCB holder adjusts in every axis and includes a board-release mechanism. A Z-axis nozzle-clearance piston provides additional working clearance around the assembly.
